I’d like to find a bedroom for myself and a shared room for kids. Depending on the house, sharing a room with my daughter is okay if the room is larger. My daughter and I are home 3-4 nights a week. We have a very friendly, affectionate, goofy dog, a hypoallergenic breed. I work from home when I am home. I’m quiet, love people, down to earth. My daughter is super caring, social, and gets along with everyone. My dog is an actual muppet.
Metro Area: Los Angeles
Neighborhood: Glassell Park
1 bed 1 bath unfurnished sweet urban farmhouse in north east Los Angeles neighborhood of Glassell Park. Utilities are not included in rent. $1500 security deposit. Street parking only. Cats and small dogs are ok if approved. Newly renovated interior spaces feature brand new bathroom upgrades, new floors throughout, new gas range and fridge plus private laundry on site. This detached backyard house sits surrounded by yard and relaxing views of the foothills. There is an active working farm on site which includes free ranging chickens – it’s like country life in the middle of the city. Walking distance to great food and coffee and less than 10 minutes drive from York in Highland Park this space offers a unique and convenient eastside location for someone wanting a little oasis plus the convenience of the city.
This property is filled with potential and I am slowly turning it into an urban garden and community learning space for eco-concious individuals. There are opportunities to share responsibilities in the farm space and reduce the price of rent for someone with the right mindset – no skills required but if you have experience building, tending to chickens, gardening and composting that is highly valued.
Hi I’m looking to rent/ sublet a one bedroom house/ back house on the West Side of LA (Venice, Santa Monica, Mar Vista, Marina Del Rey). My current Venice home is under renovations for a few more weeks and possibly a full month. I do come with a cat who is clean and well-behaved. I have a “leave no trace” mindset and no one will know a cat was there when I leave. Would to be in a quiet neighborhood and not in an apartment building. Please direct message me with any leads. Thanks!
